Blouberg Beach is a 20 minute drive from Cape Town and is one of the world’s most popular kitesurfing destinations. Boulders Beach
Boulders Beach in Simons Town is home to a large colony of endangered African penguins. A trip to Boulders Beach is a wonderful opportunity to get up close to the penguins who waddle around and swim at the beach. The penguins are cute and entertaining as they strut between the sand and sea. Boardwalks lead you to a SANParks information centre where you can learn more about the conservation of these birds.

Camps Bay Beach
Camps Bay Beach is where visitors go to see and be seen. You can cool off in the waves or head to the natural tidal pool for a swim. There are many stylish sundowner venues overlooking the bay which offers bars, shops and restaurants. The beach is long and wide has great views of the Twelve Apostles and Lion’s Head.

Muizenberg Beach
Muizenberg Beach is popular with families, it’s a surf beach with tame waves that are great for beginner surfers; a number of companies offer surf lessons, board and wetsuit rentals in the town behind the beach. The brightly coloured huts, known as bathing boxes, are throwbacks to the Victorian era, when women used them to change into chin-to-ankle bathing suits in privacy.
