Disney working with nigerian producer on new movie
Renowned production studio, Disney, is currently producing an African fairy tale movie called Sadé with Nigerian-American producer and director, Rick Famuyiwa.
According to Disney, Sadé will be based on an African princess after the commercially successful Black Panther.
Sadé was pitched by Nigerian writer, Ola Shokunbi and American writer, Lindsey Reed Palmer and was subsequently bought by Disney. Shokunbi and Palmer will co-write the screenplay about a young African girl named Sadé whose kingdom is threatened by a mysterious evil force. Sadé accepts her newly discovered magical powers to protect her people with the help of the kingdom’s prince.
Famuyiwa will produce and Scott Falconer will executive produce through their Verse production banner. Famuyiwa is well known for writing and directing award winning films Dope, The Flash, Confirmation and Our Family Wedding among others.

Actually we all are. It’s in something we do every day of our lives and we don’t even realize it.
What exactly is ‘Referral Marketing’?
Also called word of mouth marketing, simply put, it’s telling other people you know about a product or service you have experience with. You make recommendations to your friends, family or colleagues every day. It can be the amazing food at a restaurant, a shop with the lowest prices or the amazing vacation you had. We all do it, that’s why we are all in sales!
Word of mouth marketing
Why is it so powerful?
Research indicates that word of mouth marketing shows up as the most powerful form of promoting products and services. It works so well because your friends and family trust your opinion. And trust goes a long way when it comes to convincing someone else to buy or use a product. Think about the last time someone told you about a product and service and how it influenced your final decision.
The effects of word of mouth marketing
Statistics indicate that 83% of satisfied customers refer products and services but only 29% of customers actually make a referral. WE have a benefit for you when you make referrals . . .

On Wednesday 18 July 2018 the Nigerian Minister of State for Aviation, Mr Hadi Sirika enthusiastically unveiled Nigeria’s new national airline at the Farnborough International Air Show in London. The new airline will be known as Nigeria Air, nearly 15 years after the previous state-run airline, Nigerian Airways ceased operations.
The minister explained that naming the airline was a fun and creative exercise with input from young Nigerians. The name was chosen after Nigeria’s Ministry of Aviation invited Nigerian youth and students to contribute ‘their ideas and creativity in developing the new Nigerian Flag carrier’, according to the website nameyourairlinenigeria.com.
…to be launched by the end of 2018
Nigerians can’t wait for operations of the airline to be launched by the end of 2018. The airline is primarily owned and managed by a group of unidentified private investors who are confident that the new carrier will be a sturdy and efficient enterprise.
